“Booked a stay to celebrate my wife and I getting married - we booked an executive suite at what we thought was a nice little hotel outside Bangor, Maine. I even called on 3/18 to confirm we would be able to bring our dog, as it was unclear online whether the room was pet friendly or not. I was told it was - but when I called to confirm our check-in time the day of our stay, I was notified that was actually not the case. “It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. “My friend and I needed a hotel for 3 nights to visit a family in the area. We checked in late and a lovely couple met us to give us the key. The building is older but well kept and very clean. The room we had appeared to be updated. The shower was nice, towels, coffee pot with cups and small packages of sugar/creamer etc. I will say it was VERY clean. We were very comfortable. It's not the Four Seasons but it was exactly what we had hoped for in this northern Maine area. We will be staying there...
